Why No New Posts?

I find my life not interesting enough to post on a semi-regular basis, so I've been concentrating a lot on my NYS Severe Weather Blog. Also, this summer I have my job, a computer science class, and my internship at the NWS to worry about.

That is all.

End of Junior Year

It's finals week. Five finals for myself, then "freedom."

I just have an internship and job that suck 40+ hours a week out of my life... comp. sci. class July-August...

Since when does Summer sound just as bad as School?

It's May

Less than a week left of class, 5 finals coming up, and my promotion at Blockbuster should take effect soon. Life's been crazy busy since Spring Break, so it was nice to do nothing yesterday.

Last night the airport had a low of 28F, which ties the record low set in 1961. We even saw some lake-effect snow yesterday when the surface temperature was in the upper 40s.

Still waiting for those thunderstorms.

Started a new NYS Severe Weather Blog

I want to do something that I'll find fun, and also be a good resource of data. I decided that it would be a good idea to work with something I can actually easily do and maintain. With this in mind, I created a Severe Weather Blog For New York State to chronicle severe weather events, particularly ones that I have witnessed. If you have any new NYS severe weather information you'd like to share, there's an e-mail address that you can contact on the site.

I will further develop that page as time goes on, and continuously add more and more data for you all to enjoy!
