New Review on Death Sentence

Holy crap that was a bad movie. Head on over to my review site to see the details. I'd destroy the movie right here and now, but it belongs to Blockbuster, and it was free, so at least I didn't have to pay to see it. Trust me on this one... let it gather dust on the shelves of retailers.

I'm going to review Shoot 'Em Up this weekend because I laughed hard at this not-so-serious action flick and I think almost everyone should see this for a good-hearted, over-the-top, adult situations action/comedy. More to come in the review!

Merry Christmas To All

Got some nice stuff for Christmas. Getting back to my apartment tomorrow afternoon, then it's back to life as usual. Movie review coming up sometime this weekend. I re-watched a couple of movies, got 5 DVDs for Christmas, and I have (at least) 5 straight days of work for 31 hours (money, yay!). It was fun being home, but I can't wait to get back to my awesome apartment.

First New Movie Review Since August

If you want to hop over to my movie review site, you will see my review on Talk To Me. This is my first movie review since August 2nd, but I assure you that it will not be nearly as long before I review my next movie. I plan on discussing my now second-favorite movie, Reign Over Me sometime in the near future.

I also have yet to watch The Bourne Ultimatum, The Simpsons Movie, Balls Of Fury, and several "older" recent movies, all of which I'm looking forward to seeing.

School's Out! Also: Plug For Zero Punctuation

Just had my last final last night, and now I'm a free man until January. I'll be working a lot over the next month to get some of that sweet, sweet money. Expect forecasts on most days.

Last couple days of classes coming up. Finishing my finals in three of my classes, then one final on Tuesday, Dec. 11, then I'm done for the semester!

The Light At The End Of The Tunnel

I get a little time to relax this Thursday night and Saturday. Going to use all my time over the next couple of days getting the rest of my homework done and studying, then I'm working on the powerpoint for my atm311 presentation Thursday night and Friday. I'm also working Friday and Sunday nights.

Thanksgiving break is a week from now, but I have 3 finals that are all before the actual finals week (which means they're in the week immediately following Thanksgiving break), so I'm going to be studying hard for those. Then I just have one final (for Java) during finals week, and then I can just work and Blockbuster and relax for awhile.

I need more sleep.

The homework just goes on and on, my friend. A constant flow of work has me doing way too much. Filling out my forecasts is not a priority right now, so uhhh yeah.

Tired of clicking a link for the Albany forecast? Now it's on the front page! Some of it anyway. The forecast for the current 12-hour period will be on the front page. You still have to clicky if you want to see the detailed 2-day forecast. Adding this element will really keep me on my toes, since this will need to be updated every 12 hours. I enjoy it, though, so it won't be a burden at all.

One more day of work at Blockbuster, then all day Sunday and Monday is dedicated to atm311, atm315, csi101, and csi210 homework. Looooots of homework in atm311 (which is really implied by now). We have a BIG project in atm311 that will go up to Thanksgiving, with part 1 of that project due Tuesday.

Busy Weekend... See A Trend?

Tons of homework to do this weekend, in addition to working 15 hours at Blockbuster. I found time tonight to update my forecast finally. Not good news in that area, unfortunately. However, Sunday and Monday are looking promising, with seasonal weather and dry conditions. We'll see how long that lasts.

I just have to make it to Tuesday ... the end of next week ... Thankgiving ... the end of the semester.

Working On The AMS Web Site

I got the AMS web site updated tonight. The Announcements, Minutes, and Pictures pages are all up-to-date. I really like how the Pictures page turned out. As soon as I get the time, I will upload my choice pictures I have taken into the AMS' flickr page.

This weekend was nice and relaxing. I saw Meet The Robinsons, and it was quite good. I also watched Tornado, which is a VERY bad movie, and only worth watching to make fun of every bad effect and plot hole in the movie. There's a reason why the imdb.com page for it is so empty. Oddly enough, I bought TWO used copies from Blockbuster, one of which was given to my professor, to add to his collection of horrible weather movies (which is pretty much all of them, since the film makers can never get it right).

The weather here has been nice and warm, and I like it :) Unfortunately, the pattern we're currently in will end in a couple days, bringing in seasonal weather. It was nice while it lasted.

Nice Weekend

No storms, but this weekend will still be good. Just a little homework (and I say "little" while comparing it to my other days of the week. In this case, "little" is still quite a bit), but otherwise it's a nice, long weekend, with Jaclyn staying over the whole time :)

Just working 6-9 tonight, then hopefully getting Meet The Robinsons from the store and watching that this weekend. It looks like a really fun kids' movie, and Jaclyn has seen it already, and all I really want to see is the dinosaur talking about how his arms are too small and his head is too big.

Thunderstorms! ... ?

All my midterms are done! Now I can just sit and wait for the storms to arrive... Anytime now, storms! It's going to be an interesting night... Hopefully.

Now to catch up on my relaxation time.

Tests? Icicles? Testicicles?

What do you get when you cross midterm week and cold weather? ...Yeah, that would have probably worked better if I didn't say the punchline before the "joke", which is a reference to the mood of the week. Obvious reference left slightly obscured for the more sensitive types in the audience.

Knocking down 3 midterms, 1 test, and 1 quiz along with 1 homework all by Thursday, in addition to possibly getting my car back from the shop finally. Expect a forecast update this Friday, but nowhere in between unless I can get around to it.

Stop Looking At My Tail!!!

Busy this week. Lots of studying and fun of that nature. Car's hopefully going to be fixed Wednesday so I can pick it up and dry up my bank account even more.

I should add a note that my forecasts will typically be Monday through Friday, because the weather forecasting contest does not make us forecast on the weekend.

Car's at the dealership, but they're mad expensive (surprise, surprise), so I'll be checking local repair shops in the morning. I'm busy this week, busy next week, and maybe busy until the end of the semester. It never stops. I know I won't get a break this Thanksgiving because of the work I'll undoubtedly be getting in ATM311. Just gotta crank out these next... couple of months...

Car's Broken Again

Another chapter in my book of car repairs. Sudden stop in front of me, brakes decide to give out (mostly), luckily the lane next to me was open and I managed to get the car home without hitting anyone or running a light. I get to make calls tomorrow!

I just need to get a different car. This thing I have needs repairs every 3-6 months, mostly of no fault of my own.

Add Two Days To My Week, Please

Too much stuff. Got three midterms next week, getting homework done in between, getting my forecasts done, Work on Friday and Saturday night, roommate's guests coming this weekend.

Working On It Some More

Just putting the finishing touches on all the graphics. I'm working on the forecasting stuff tonight, but the next few days will be busy, so I probably won't post anything beyond the forecasts during the week. Weather icons will be put up as soon as I find a complete set that I like.

I got to watching Reign Over Me today, and I must say it's an amazing movie. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. It's a very powerful drama with Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle, and they do an amazing job in this movie. I definitely plan on buying it, and everyone should see it. Fantastic, unique story with a perfect ending and a lot of underlying symbolism and it's just perfect.
